LETTER TO HADES

Living in your dark solemn abode
As hot as a freezing burning furnace
I but wonder, does it not burn your bed?
An abode built with skulls of human
Painted with crimson blood of mortals
Soaring in the air are disgusting fragrance
From decayed body of souls you enslaved
Yet, you sit with ease, dining and feasting
On your rotten frozen meal, whilst living in
A hot alcove.

Why do you enjoy enslaving innocent souls?
Stealing life from people, when they are yet to start
Leaving their loved one to mourn and cry for
Their souls, an epitaph they crave on their tomb
Fearing it will be washed away by the tempest of age.
Releasing your dreaded sons to massacre the world
How did you feel at the lost of thou first born, “The Kracker?”
Are you still in enmity with Persius the demi-god for destroying him?
Wear the agony you felt at the
Tragic loss of Kracker, exchange it
With the mask of pain, mortals wear
At your merciless ambush and see
If you wouldn’t but shrink at your own misfortune.

Have you ever wonder how beautiful
Your home would be at a ray of light?
When you abandon your evil ways seeking
Peace with thy Brother Zeus.
Never been seen as a dreaded god
But a god worth worshipping and praising
Would you not like it, if mortals stop
Shrinking with fear at the mention of your name,
But with shimmers of adoration at their mortal eyes?
I pray thee seek peace whilst the sun
Still shines, restore happiness to the life of mortals.
I hope to see the dawn, when we shall
Live an ageless and endless life because
Thou son “Death” has repent;
Even in this fruitless hope condition
I await your repentance with
Freezing fearful forged faith.
