Heaven's cry got me startled on my toes
All have sinned and fell from awesome glory
Angel's sad song, devil's laughing story
Redemption voyage of his only heir
From heaven's splendor to mortals doomed lair
A signed contract; bargain with blood and death
Price to pay to purge man's eternal dirt.
To his own he was perversely disown Despite the kindly show of divine proof
